Abbotsford

In September 2008, the Province of British Columbia and the City of Abbotsford signed an agreement to build up new supportive housing units on two city-owned sites for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including:

  • Christine Lamb Residence at 3096 Clearbook Road (Operator: Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley) - Providing 41 units of housing with integrated support services
  • George Schmidt Centre (Operator: Kinghaven Peardonville House Society) - Proposed 30-unit apartment building with support services for men with mental health and/or addiction issues
