In January 2008, the Province of British Columbia and the City
of Victoria approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build
over 170 new and upgraded housing units, including:

Rock Bay Landing at 535 Ellice Street (Operated by Victoria Cool Aid Society) - Providing 84 shelter beds, 23 transitional housing units, two emergency family shelter units (the first in the Capital Region), and up to 20 additional shelter mats for use during extreme weather conditions or other emergencies

Swift House at 1634 Store Street (Operated by Victoria Cool Aid Society) - An expansion of the site to provide 23 new supportive apartments

Camas Gardens at 950 Humboldt Street (Operated by Pacifica Housing Advisory Association) - Provide 44 units of supportive housing for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
