Chetwynd
In Chetwynd, Surerus Place provides four Independent Living BC
(ILBC) assisted living units and eight units for independent
seniors in a single-storey format. The site is located on 47th
Avenue across from the Chetwynd Seniors' Hall, on land donated by
Lou Surerus.
Developed in partnership with the District of Chetwynd, this
supportive housing is operated by Chetwynd Senior
Citizens’ Housing Society. Amenity space has been added
as an addition to the building and provides a dining area, laundry,
office and recreational space for the tenants.
