Official Opening of The Village in Chilliwack

The Village, a new supportive housing development providing 20 apartments for adults with mental health challenges and 10 apartments for youth at risk of homelessness operated by Chilliwack Community Services Society and Creative Centre Society. The building was contracted using modular units that temporarily housed athletes during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympics Winter Games.

Official One-Year Annniversary of Driver House in Dawson Creek

One year after opening, Driver House is already making a real difference to the Aboriginal Elders and families who call it home as well as to the community of Dawson Creek. Driver House, with 25 affordable apartments, was a partnership between the Province, the City of Dawson Creek and the Dawson Creek Native Housing Society, which operates the development.
