Step 2 - Select housing

Your next step is to select housing that is available for application.

  1. Find your zone:  Housing Listings are broken into twelve zones that each represents a different area of British Columbia. Click here to find out in what zone a city is located.
  2. Review the Housing Listings (formerly The Link):  Using your zone, select the appropriate group that fits you: families, singles or seniors and adults with disabilities. Each listing contains both developments that can applied to through the Housing Registry (the BC Housing application process that you are currently following) and those that need to be applied to directly with the development/provider, in a given area.
Please note:  Subsidized housing vacancies are limited, and many thousands of people are waiting for housing. To increase chances of being selected for a unit, we recommend that applicants include a wide range of developments from The Housing Registry on the application form as well as apply directly to developments not listed on the Registry.

Once you have selected housing, your next step is to apply to the Housing Registry.
