Operational Review

The intent of the operational review process is to work in partnership with housing providers to identify areas of strength and opportunities to achieve excellence and accountability in the delivery of social housing and support programs.

Principles

  • Outcome based
  • Scalable based on risk profile - the nature and intensity of our operational review and support depends on its specific risk profile
  • Provide useful information to providers and BC Housing
Approach

  • Site visits
  • Rent Calculation Review (completed prior to on site visit)
Operational Reviews focus on the following areas:

  • Providing safe spaces for clients, residents and staff
  • Providing effective client, resident management
  • Achieving sustainable financial management
  • Administering well maintained physical assets
