Delivery Partners

An esquimalt dancer performs at the transfer of 189 housing units from the provincial government to the Aboriginal Housing Management Association, a delivery partner of BC Housing.

Housing assistance is provided through a number of mechanisms including public, non-profit, and co-operative housing, as well as the provision of rent assistance to households in the private rental market. BC Housing provides financial, administrative, and technical support to its delivery partners, in addition to administering long-term operating agreements and managing the provision of housing subsidies. These long-term operating agreements set out the operating and financial targets from which non-profit, co-operative, and private sector delivery partners ensure that the existing housing portfolio is well-managed and well-maintained. Within this relationship, BC Housing’s role is one of stewardship and accountability.
