Urban Development Institute (UDI)
The Urban Development Institute is a national non-profit organization (with international affiliations) representing the development industry and related professions. Since 1972, the Pacific Region UDI has worked to improve communications between industry, government, and the public. UDI also strives to improve housing and job opportunities for British Columbians.

Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC (CHBA-BC)
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia represents the residential construction industry in the province. The association strives to foster a housing environment in which industry can operate effectively and professionally, while maintaining affordability and profitability. CHBA-BC is also working to solve a critical skills shortage in the residential building industry through its Strategic Skills Plan.

CHBA-BC offers members technical information, specialized education, and training courses. CHBA-BC also promotes a members’ code of ethics that calls for high standards in customer relations and business practices.
