• Addiction Recovery Program – Read about the Addiction Recovery Program, a partnership between BC Housing and Vancouver Coastal Health to provide transitional supported housing to people in recovery from problematic substance use.

• Health Services Program – Read about the Health Services Program, a partnership between BC Housing and the Ministry of Health, that provides housing for people with mental illness. Find out about the program services and the criteria for applicants.

• SAFER – Shelter Aid For Elderly Renters - Read about the SAFER program, run by BC Housing. SAFER provides monthly cash payments to subsidize rents for eligible BC residents, who are 60 or older. Find out if you are eligible for assistance, and how the subsidy is calculated.

• Rental Assistance Program  - Read about the Rental Assistance Program in this brochure. This program is for low-income, working families with children under the age of 19 and a household income less than $28,000 per year. Housing assistance is paid directly to eligible households to assist these families in meeting monthly rent payments in the private market.  

• Rapid Damage Assessment - Read about BC Housing's Rapid Damage Assessment program in this brochure. This program trains community members and Emergency Social Services personnel in safe and effective damage assessment following an earthquake. The Rapid Damage Assessment Field Manual (March 2007) is only available in hard copy.

• The Housing Registry –A centralized database for housing providers that contains current applicant information. Housing providers can use this information to find tenants when housing units become available. Read important information for housing providers on joining the Housing Registry.

• Housing and Health Partnerships – A brochure on BC Housing's housing and health partnerships and programs.

• Seniors' Supportive Housing - Read about Seniors' Supportive Housing in this brochure. This program provides specially modified rental homes, in selected subsidized housing developments, primarily to low-income seniors who need some assistance in order to continue to live independently.
