How is the Rental Assistance subsidy calculated?

The Rental Assistance Program reimburses a percentage of the difference between 30 percent of your household income and your rent, subject to the  maximum rent ceilings.  Effective April 2008, the maximum benefit will be increasing and there is a new minimum benefit of $50/month or $600/year.
