Respondents are invited for Request for Proposals #1070-1112/90 for Seniors’ Supportive Housing Program Support Services at Ted Kuhn, Tower 1, Surrey, BC.
BC Housing is seeking submissions to manage and deliver support services under the Seniors’ Supportive Housing program, which will address tenant needs for a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 40 tenants at Ted Kuhn Tower 1, located in Surrey, BC.
Support services under the Seniors’ Supportive Housing program will include one nutritious meal a day, weekly housekeeping (minimum 1 hour), laundry services (linens and towels) and 24 hour response service.

Seniors’ Supportive Housing is a program
initiative by BC Housing aimed at assisting senior social housing
tenants to maintain their independence through the provision of a
supportive housing environment.
The program focuses on an inclusive support services package
to tenants as well as retrofitting and upgrading existing
seniors’ subsidized housing.
Housing enhanced under this program is designed to complement BC Housing’s other programs for seniors. This program will support seniors living independently longer and is situated on the continuum of housing support services between transitional and assisted living, and independent social housing.
Submissions will be received at BC Housing – Home Office, Suite 1701–4555 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4V8, no later than 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012, BC Housing Clock.
A Mandatory Site Meeting will be held for bidders on Thursday, February 2, 2012 2:00 p.m., BC Housing Clock, at the following address:
