Each Community Partner helps spread the word about our Rental Assistance Program to its staff, volunteers and clients through a variety of ways, including brochure distribution, information sessions, newsletter articles, and website links.


The Child Care Resource and Referral Program (CCRR), funded by the provincial Ministry of Children and Family Development, offers quality child care referrals, resources and support to all child care providers and families in over 400 communities across the Province of British Columbia. The CCRR program works closely with families of all income levels, and has brochures available at their centres on the Rental Assistance Program for families. The Rental Assistance Program helps families have that extra bit of money to help impact early childhood development and future learning and education; areas to which the CCRR is highly committed.


The Credit Counselling Society is the non-profit debt solutions service dedicated to helping individuals and families find solutions to their debt and money problems. They provide consumers with confidential and free credit counselling services, credit education and debt management programs. The Credit Counselling Society connects families with services to help alleviate financial hardship. The Rental Assistance Program provides  the CCS with one more resource to help families who may need assistance with rent payments.


Family Services of Greater Vancouver is a community-based not-for-profit organization providing crucial social services to children, youth, adults, and families across British Columbia's Lower Mainland. Its staff knows that connecting a family to the Rental Assistance Program helps address one of the family's primary needs.


The GVFBS has become one of the most important non-government funded food assistance providers in Canada. The GVFBS helps feed more than 9,000 people each week in 16 depots, and aids over 100 agencies within these areas, providing help to another 16,000 individuals weekly. Its partnership with BC Housing helps low-income families during tough economic times by helping people who come to the food bank obtain information about the Rental Assistance Program and access the financial assistance that may help reduce their rent payments.


S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is a multi-service agency in British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1973 and incorporated in 1974, their mandate is to promote the well being of all Canadians and immigrants. Their mission is to help new Canadians integrate into society with housing being a vital factor in ensuring these newcomers settle in well.


The SFBS "helps people help themselves" by providing a food hamper designed to supplement a client's food needs. They are a non-profit, charitable organization assisting about 14,000 people per month from the Surrey and North Delta communities. Through the Rental Assistance Program partnership, the SFBS is providing information to clients to help offset their rental costs and get back on their feet.


The Salvation Army has a proven track record that goes back over 130 years, and over 120 years in Canada. This has made it one of the world’s largest providers of social services, and one of the most trusted to provide spiritual and practical support to society’s most vulnerable. The partnership with the Rental Assistance Program is a continuation of this mission.


YWCA Canada remains the largest women's multi-service organization in the country with 34 Member Associations providing essential programs and services to 1 million women, teen girls, and their families every year in 200 communities across Canada. The YWCA Vancouver is dedicated to improving the lives of women, with a special focus on supporting single mothers for whom affordable housing is fundamental to their success.
