BC Housing is reviewing our public and non-profit housing stock
to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency. This public
housing portfolio consists of 7,800 units that BC housing owns and
manages. The non-profit housing portfolio includes 33,400 units
owned and managed by non-profit societies. Operating costs for
non-profit projects are subsidized by BC Housing.
Energy audits have been conducted on selected buildings in the two
