BC Housing received an overwhelming response to the recent Building BC: Women’s Transition Housing Fund Expression of Interest. Submissions came from all areas of the province.
The evaluation panel is now carefully reviewing each submission, a process which is expected to take several weeks. As evaluations occur societies will be advised as to the next steps in the process.
Through the new Building BC: Women’s Transition Housing Fund, the Province will invest $734 million over the next 10 years to build and operate 1,500 new units of much-needed housing including transition houses, safe homes, second-stage and long-term housing.

Non-profit service providers who are interested in developing and operating new rental units that qualify under the Women’s Transition Housing Fund.
