Carla Judith Meckling (“Meckling”) and Christina Mary Tew (“Tew”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built or caused to have built a new home in Silverton, BC (the “New Home”), during the period of, or about, August 15, 2017, and July 25, 2019, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance (“HWI”) provided by a warranty provider.

Carol Ann Jensen (“C.A. Jensen”) and Cory Kristofor Jensen (“C.K. Jensen”) (together, the “Jensens”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built a new home in Birch Island, B.C., (the “New Home”) in, or around, 2009 and 2010 without being a Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered by a policy of home warranty insurance. On February 13, 2012, the HPO issued Compliance Order 12-0008 to C.A. Jensen and C.K.

Carol Ann Zigler (“Zigler”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), commenced, or caused to have commenced, construction on a new home in Cluculz Lake, BC (the “New Home”), between the period of, or about, January 18, 2018, and October 7, 2019, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (LRB) and without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance (“HWI”) provided by a warranty provider.

Charan Singh Hyare and Rashpaul Kaur Hyare

Charan Singh Hyare (“C. Hyare”), contrary to section 20(1)(a) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”) and section 4.1(2)(f) of the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation (the “Regulations”), regarding a new home in Vancouver, B.C. (the “New Home”), for which an Owner Builder Authorization (“OBA”) had been issued, failed to engage in, arrange for or manage all or substantially all of the construction of the New Home. On April 9, 2018, BC Housing (“BCH”) cancelled the OBA that had been issued to C. Hyare for the New Home.

(the “New Home”), for which an Owner Builder Authorization had been issued, failed to provide the purchasers of the New Home with a Disclosure Notice, in a form satisfactory to the Homeowner Protection (the “HPO”) Registrar, stating among other facts, whether or not the New Home was covered by home warranty insurance.
