1.Overview

General contractors who are constructing single family homes and small residential buildings under Part 9 of the BC Building Code must meet a qualification standard before the Registrar will issue a new licence.

Some applicants may choose to qualify via a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) review.
