Dalvir Dosanjh (“D. Dosanjh”), Sulakhan Dosanjh (“S. Dosanjh”) and Himmat Dosanjh (“H. Dosanjh”)(together, “the Dosanjhs”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built, or caused to have built, a non-conforming multi-unit building consisting of five self-contained dwelling units in Surrey, BC (the “New Homes”), sometime prior to January 10, 2024, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder, and without any of the New Homes being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance provided by a warranty provider. On January 20, 2026, BCH issued Compliance Order 26-0001 to the Dosanjhs, directing that the Dosanjhs:
- immediately provide BCH Compliance Department with evidence that the New Homes have been removed from the property.
The Dosanjhs were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 26-0001 by February 27, 2026.
