GC Pro General Contractor Ltd. (“GC Pro”) and Orlando Alexander Escorcia Maradiaga (“Escorcia”), contrary to section 14(5) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), published information implying, suggesting or holding out in a manner that GC Pro is a Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) during the period of, or about, August 19, 2025, and December 16, 2025, without GC Pro or Escorcia being a BC Housing (“BCH”) LRB. On December 16, 2025, BCH issued Compliance Order 25-0026 to GC Pro and Escorcia, directing that GC Pro and Escorcia:
- immediately cease all signage, marketing, and other publications that imply, suggest, or hold out in any manner that GC Pro and Escorcia is a LRB; or
- immediately become a BCH LRB pursuant to section 14 of the Act.
GC Pro and Escorcia were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 25-0026 by January 16, 2026.
