Ghulam Mustafa (“Mustafa”) and Aqsa Naz (“Naz”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built, or caused to be built, a non-conforming two-family dwelling in Surrey, BC (the “New Homes”) sometime prior to May 16, 2024, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder, and without any of the New Homes being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance provided by a warranty provider. On February 20, 2026, BCH issued Compliance Order 26-0003 to Mustafa and Naz directing that Mustafa and Naz:
- immediately provide BCH Compliance Department with evidence that the New Homes have been removed from the property.
Mustafa and Naz were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 26-0003 by April 3, 2026.
