Compliance Order

Kuldip Mundi (“K. Mundi”) and Narinder Mundi (“N. Mundi”)(together, “the “Mundis”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built, or caused to be built, a non-conforming secondary dwelling in Surrey, BC (the “New Home”), sometime prior to December 2024 without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder and without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance provided by a warranty provider. On June 30, 2026, BCH issued Compliance Order 26-0012 to the Mundis directing that the Mundis:
- immediately provide BCH Compliance Department with evidence that the New Home has been removed from the property.
The Mundis were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 26-0012 by August 14, 2026.
