Premium West Construction Inc. (“PWC”) and Patrick Munyurangabo (“Munyurangabo”), contrary to section 14(5) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), published information implying, suggesting or holding out in a manner that PWC is a Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) during the period of, or about, November 21, 2024, and March 31, 2025, without PWC being a BC Housing (“BCH”) LRB. On March 31, 2025, BCH issued Compliance Order 25-0002 to PWC and Munyurangabo, directing that PWC and Munyurangabo:
- immediately cease all signage, marketing, and other publications that imply, suggest, or hold out in any manner that PWC or Munyurangabo is a LRB ; or
- immediately become a BCH LRB pursuant to section 14 of the Act.
PWC and Munyurangabo were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 25-0002 by May 16, 2025.
