Siltstone Contracting Ltd., Vikramjit Singh, and Lakhvinder Kaur

Siltstone Contracting Ltd. (“SCL”), Vikramjit Singh (“Singh”), and Lakhvinder Kaur (“Kaur”), contrary to section 14(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), conducted the business of a residential builder without a valid BC Housing (“BCH”) Residential Builder Licence, between the dates of, or about, February 28, 2017, and February 20, 2018. On February 20, 2018, BCH issued Compliance Order 18-0013 to SCL, Singh and Kaur directing that SCL, Singh and Kaur:

• immediately cease carrying on the business of a residential builder as defined in the Act, and cease construction activities on two new homes in Abbotsford, B.C. (collectively, the “New Homes”); and
• prior to resuming construction on any of the New Homes, provide BCH Compliance Department with proof that each of the News Homes is being built by a LRB pursuant to section 14(1).

SCL, Singh and Kaur were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 18-0013 by March 16, 2018.
