100 units of new low- and moderate-income rental housing coming to Coquitlam.
About the Project
Concert Properties, in partnership with 43 Housing Society, is proposing to develop 100 new affordable rental units in Coquitlam, through the Building BC Community Housing Fund
The rental building will include 308 units in total, with a mix of market (208 units) and non market (100 units) rentals. In order to foster community and inclusiveness, all non market units will be distributed throughout the building and will enjoy the same common areas and amenities.
The site is located in the Burquitlam neighborhood of Coquitlam, which is the westernmost portion of the city. It is near Burquitlam park, the Burquitlam Skytrain station on the Evergreen Line Extension, schools, parks, shops and services.
The building will be a 32-storey high-rise, comprised of a variety of unit types ranging from studios to 3-bed units in order to accommodate the target market of low to moderate income independent families and seniors. There will be approximately 7,000 square feet of indoor amenity space throughout the building including a ground level lounge area in the lobby, an amenity lounge, patio space, a fitness center, a study lounge and a flex/recreation room.
This project is estimated to break ground in Fall 2019.
