Artist rendering of the proposed concept for the Bertram Redevelopment.
Project overview
BC Housing is planning to redevelop provincially owned land at 1451 Bertram Street in partnership with M’akola Housing Society. The goal is to build modern, energy efficient apartments that will serve the Kelowna community for years to come.
The redevelopment will include:
- A 20-storey building with 176 purpose-built rentals for workforce, singles and families with middle to moderate incomes.
- A childcare facility
The land will continue to be owned by BC Housing. Learn more about the Provincial Redevelopment Program.
M’akola Housing Society was selected through an open public process to operate this site.
