Penticton – Skaha Assembly redevelopment

Project overview

BC Housing is planning to redevelop the Skaha Assembly lands in the City of Penticton (2730, 2784, 2824, 2852, and 2872 Skaha Lake Road, and 179 Green Avenue West). The property contains the Skaha Sunrise Apartments, Meadowlark, Sun Valley, Unity House, and the Mayfair buildings.

The proposed plan involves:

  • Replacing 103 affordable rental homes
  • Adding approximately 515 new purpose-built rentals for families and individuals with moderate and middle incomes
  • Constructing three buildings over three phases, each up to 14 storeys
  • Adding over 10,000 square feet of commercial space

All current residents of Skaha Assembly will be supported throughout the redevelopment process.
