Project overview

BC Housing and Chard Development Ltd. are building 505 new rental homes at 1961 Douglas Street and 710 Caledonia Avenue.

The development will include:

  • Three concrete high-rise towers
  • A mix of studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes at market, near-market, and below-market rates
  • 60,000 sq. ft. of commercial space including a restaurant, co-working office and a Thrifty Foods grocery store

This project is funded through the Province’s BC Builds program. This program speeds up the development of new homes for middle-income working people throughout British Columbia.
