A new affordable housing project for low to moderate income singles and persons with disabilities is now available in Williams Lake.
About the Project
To create more affordable housing for low income singles and individuals with disabilities, the Province has partnered with the Williams Lake Association for Community Living to develop a new 39-unit rental apartment building in the downtown core of Williams Lake.
The site is in close proximity to amenities and services, four blocks from the recreation complex and three blocks from the Marie Sharpe Elementary School. The building is five storeys and consists of one level of open concept parking and four levels of wood framed apartments. The total number of residential units is 39, including one 3 bedroom unit designated for lease to Community Living BC clients with disabilities.
The building will offer rents ranging from shelter to low end market rates.
