Project overview
BC Housing and the City of Burnaby are working in partnership to rezone multiple pieces of land (7282, 7252, 7264 Kingsway, and 7255 Edmonds Street) in Burnaby. One of the pieces of land within the proposed master plan is 7272 and 7264 Kingsway, where BC Housing’s Hall Towers is located. After the rezoning of the master plan is complete, BC Housing envisions the redevelopment of Hall Towers at a future time. Timing for BC Housing to undertake the replacement of Hall Towers is not yet determined.
The BC Housing land will continue to be owned by the Provincial Rental Housing Corporation. Learn more about the Provincial Redevelopment Program.
BC Housing directly manages the existing Hall Towers buildings and will manage the replacement building when it is constructed in the future. Additional new housing envisioned to be built on the BC Housing property will seek a partner through a fair and transparent process.
