Site overview

BC Housing is planning to redevelop Skeena Terrace at 108 and 2408 Cassiar Street, Vancouver. The redevelopment will replace the 230-units with modern, energy efficient apartments in the first phase of construction, and will build 1,700 units over 7 phases for moderate and middle incomes.

Redevelopment includes:

  • Replacement of 230 rent geared to income homes for seniors, families with children and people living with disabilities
  • An additional 1,700 new purpose-built rentals for moderate and middle incomes
  • New gardens improved public spaces and resident amenities
  • 15 buildings (7 phases) up to 36 storeys tall
  • All Skeena Terrace residents will be supported throughout the redevelopment process, and their housing remains secure. Residents of Skeena Terrace have the first chance to move into a new home as long as they remain eligible.
