VICTORIA - Twenty-eight new transitional homes with supports will soon be available for people leaving the correctional system as construction gets underway on a mixed-use building in Victoria.

SURREY - Seniors, families and adults living with disabilities in Surrey will soon get access to 91 more units of affordable rental housing as construction begins on Harmony Apartments.

CASTLEGAR - People experiencing homelessness in Castlegar will soon have access to up to 20 new shelter spaces with the purchase of a building in Castlegar.

TOFINO - Families, seniors and members of the local workforce with low or moderate incomes will soon be moving into 72 new affordable homes with the opening of Headwaters North and South in Tofino.

KAMLOOPS - Seniors and families in Kamloops will soon have access to 80 affordable rental homes as construction begins on a new development at 346 Campbell Ave.

CRANBROOK - The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Lazy Bear Lodge to create 30 supportive homes for older adults and vulnerable seniors.

FERNIE - Families and individuals now have access to 49 new affordable rental homes in Fernie with the opening of North End Court.

VANCOUVER - People will soon have access to hundreds more affordable homes in communities they love through a partnership between the Province and Metro Vancouver.
