BC Housing has experienced dramatic growth over the last 10 years. The size, scope, and complexity of our work has changed. As we scale up to respond to the housing crisis, we are finding new ways of working.

The Transformation Program is a three-year initiative (2023-2026) to enhance BC Housing’s structures, processes, and systems. We’re doing this so that we can be more accountable and responsive in meeting the changing needs of tenants, partners, and communities.

Work has been underway since Fall 2022 to address recommendations from the Ernst and Young Financial and Operational Review. In addition, BC Housing is implementing an action plan in response to the recommendations in the Forensic Investigation Report of March 2023.

As we work to transform our business, we are also making systemic changes to better serve communities. This includes advancing Reconciliation, Equity, and Sustainability.
