Minister Responsible for Housing

We are accountable to the Minister Responsible for Housing through our Board of Commissioners.

The minister is the Honourable Rich Coleman, who was appointed Deputy Premier and the Minister of Natural Gas Development and Minister Responsible for Housing on June 10, 2013.

Over his five terms as MLA for Fort Langley-Aldergrove, Minister Coleman has held numerous cabinet positions, including Minister of Energy, Minister Responsible for Housing, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Minister of Housing and Social Development and Minister of Forests and Range. Before entering public life, Minister Coleman was governor of the Kinsmen Foundation of B.C., president of the Aldergrove Chamber of Commerce and a director of several volunteer boards.

Minister Coleman is currently vice-chair of the Cabinet Working Group on Liquefied Natural Gas and the Priorities and Planning Committee. He is a member of the Treasury Board, the Cabinet Committee on Strong Economy and the Environment and Land Use Committee.
