Indigenous Housing Fund

This funding program is the first of its kind in Canada, supporting new on-reserve housing projects. The program is also available for Indigenous housing off-reserve. The funding is for Indigenous non-profit housing providers, First Nations, Métis Nation of British Columbia, and non-profit and for-profit developers who wish to partner with Indigenous housing providers and First Nations.

Community Housing Fund

The Government of BC funds new rental housing projects proposed by non-profit and Indigenous housing societies, First Nations, housing co-operatives and municipalities. The Government of BC is inviting non-profit and Indigenous housing societies, First Nations, housing co-operatives and municipalities to propose new affordable housing projects for the second intake of the Building BC: Community Housing Fund.

Supportive Housing Fund

This funding program is for people who need housing support services to live independently. This includes frail seniors, people with disabilities and adults who may have other mental or physical health conditions, including substance-use or other challenges, that puts them at higher risk of homelessness.

Women’s Transition Housing Fund

This funding program gives women and their children at risk of violence, or who have experienced violence, access to safe, secure and confidential services. Services include information and support for decision-making, short-term shelter or housing, referrals to other services, and links to safe, affordable housing.
