0856131 B.C. Ltd. and Dwayne Peleshaty

On July 27, 2015, pursuant to s. 28.3(1)(a) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), 0856131 B.C. Ltd. (“0856131”) and Dwayne Peleshaty (“Peleshaty”), were issued a monetary penalty, jointly and severely, in the single amount of $9,600. This Monetary Penalty was issued for the following reasons:

• 0856131 and Peleshaty, contrary to s. 14(1) of the Act, built, or caused to have built, three new homes in Langford, BC (the “New Homes”), between July 18, 2013, and June 9, 2014, without being a Homeowner Protection Office Licensed Residential Builder; and
• The contravention of the Act by 0856131 and Peleshaty makes 0856131 and Peleshaty subject to a monetary penalty pursuant to s. 28.3(1)(a) of the Act and s. 20.1(2)(b) of the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation.
