Building Knowledge Case Study

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Mid-island offers scattered-site supportive housing on Vancouver Island. Scattered-site supportive housing programs assist individuals experiencing - or at risk of experiencing - homelessness in transitioning from the streets, shelters or inadequate housing to long-term housing stability in the community. This case study used the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology to demonstrate the social and economic value created by investing in supportive housing.
