G.A. Construction Ltd., Guvinder Aujla, and Dalbir Aujla

G.A. Construction Ltd. (“GACL”), Guvinder Aujla (“G. Aujla”), and Dalbir Aujla (“D. Aujla”), contrary to section 14(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), conducted the business of a residential builder without a valid BC Housing (“BCH”) Residential Builder Licence, between the dates of, or about, August 31, 2017, and March 9, 2018. On March 9, 2018, BCH issued Compliance Order 18-0020 to GACL, G. Aujla and D. Aujla directing that GACL, G. Aujla and D. Aujla:

• immediately cease carrying on the business of a residential builder as defined in the Act, and cease construction activities on two new homes in Richmond, BC (collectively, the “New Homes”); and
• prior to resuming construction on any of the New Homes, provide BCH Compliance Department with proof that each of the New Homes is being built by a Licensed Residential Builder pursuant to section 14(1) of the Act.

GACL, G. Aujla and D. Aujla were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 18-0020 by March 30, 2018. Complied.
