Robert Carnduff (“Carnduff”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “ Act”), built a new home in Central Saanich, B.C., (the “New Home”) between sometime before May 27, 2011 and March 27, 2012, without being a Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered by a policy of home warranty insurance.

Robert James Weeks and Martha Trinh Tran

Robert James Weeks (“Weeks”) and Martha Trinh Tran (“Tran”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built a new home on Hornby Island, B.C. (the “New Home”), during the period of July 16, 2009 and April 13, 2012, without being a Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered by a policy of home warranty insurance.

Robert Jay Woods

Robert Jay Woods (“Woods”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), commenced or caused to have commenced construction on a new home located in Fruitvale, BC (the “New Home”), sometime around June 2021 without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance (“HWI”) provided by a warranty provider. Robert Milanovic (“R. Milanovic”) and Adam Mackenzie Milanovic (“A. (the “New Home”), between the period of, or about, September 28, 2015, and July 18, 2018, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered by a policy of home warranty insurance (“HWI”). Russel David Schartner (“R. Schartner”), contrary to section 22(1.1)(b) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), sold a new home in Vernon, BC (the “New Home”), on, or about, November 2, 2016, without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance provided by a warranty provider. On August 18, 2017, BC Housing (“BCH”) issued Compliance Order 17-0028 to R. Schartner directing that R. Schartner:

Ryan Ward

Ryan Ward (“R. Ward”), contrary to section 20(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”) and section 4.1(2)(e) of the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation (the “Regulations”), regarding a new home in Victoria, B.C. (the “New Home”), for which an Owner Builder Authorization (“OBA”) had been issued, failed to maintain a registered interest in the land on which the New Home was built for at least one year from the date of first occupancy. On March 9, 2017, BC Housing (“BCH”) suspended the OBA that had been issued to R. Ward for the New Home.

S A S Johal Enterprises Inc. and Avtar Singh Johal

S A S Johal Enterprises Inc. (“SAS”) and Avtar Singh Johal (“Johal”), contrary to section 14(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), conducted the business of a residential builder without being a Homeowner Protection Office ("HPO") Licensed Residential Builder ("LRB") between the dates of May 2, 2014, and October 16, 2014, regarding a new home in Burnaby, BC (the “New Home”). On October 27, 2014, the HPO issued Compliance Order 14-0060 to SAS and Johal directing that SAS and Johal:

Savinder Gill ("Gill"), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built a new home in Surrey, B.C., (the “New Home), during the period of May 2005 to July 2007, without being a Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered with home warranty insurance. On August 4, 2009, Compliance Order 09-0014 was issued by the HPO to Gill directing that Gill become an HPO LRB and obtain home warranty insurance for the New Home.

Shanne Clinton Bushey and Raelene Adrienne Vandenbosch

Shanne Clinton Bushey (“Bushey”) and Raelene Adrienne Vandenbosch (“Vandenbosch”), contrary to section 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built a new coach home in Squamish, B.C. (the “New Home”), between September 30, 2011, and November 9, 2012, without the New Home being registered for coverage by home warranty insurance provided by a warranty provider.

Raffard”), contrary to section 20.1(1)(b) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), regarding a new home in West Vancouver, BC (the “New Home”), for which an Owner Builder Authorization ( “OBA”) had been issued, offered for sale the New Home without having occupied the New Home for the 12 month period after the New Home was built.
