Paramjit Singh Chahal (“Chahal”), contrary to sections 14 (1), 22(1) and 22(1.1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), built a new home in Salmon Arm, BC (the “New Home”), between the dates of, or about, November 7, 2014, and October 22, 2015, and offered for sale the New Home between the dates of, or about, October 28, 2015, and November 17, 2015, without being a Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”) and without the New Home being covered with a policy of home warranty insurance.

Pasha Construction Ltd. dba PASCON Building Group, Nasser Afrough and Hossein Afrough

Pasha Construction Ltd. dba PASCON Building Group (“PCL”), Nasser Afrough (“N. Afrough”) and Hossein Afrough (“H. Afrough”), contrary to section 14(5)(b) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), published information implying and suggesting that PCL, N. Afrough and/or H. Afrough is a licensed residential builder during the periods of May 31, 2020, and December 1, 2021, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”).

Patricia Gail Marsh (“Marsh”), contrary to sections 14(1) and 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), commenced or caused to have commenced construction on a new home in Blind Bay, B.C. Pavitra Singh Rakhra (“P. Rakhra”), contrary to section 22(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), resumed or caused construction to resume on two new homes in Vancouver, BC (the “New Homes”) between October 21, 2020, and December 16, 2020, without each of the New Homes being covered by a policy of home warranty insurance (“HWI”). Each of the New Homes was registered for coverage by HWI provided by a warranty provider on January 29, 2016, as required by the Act and the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation.
